NUIT BLANCHE 2007

So Nuit blance (or the white night) came around and it took the city in an art frenzy of celebrations and mayhem.

I started the day by painting with some friends as a part of a charity event to restore a building for troubled youth in Shaw and College. This was all organized by Stanzie Tooth, who put in a lot of time into making sure everyone was painting and well taken care of.

On the way there I found an old frame and incorporated it into the painting.

Now, for the rest of the night, Jenny and I hit the town in style.

I like how the the car matches the mask.DANCEOh what a great night.

Coors storyboard

These are a series of storyboards for a Coors Light pitch.

These here are the hero shot proposals. The 3d ice letters was done by Tim Sibley and I laid it all out in Photoshop.
This is treatment A.

And this is treatment B.

Too bad they didn't give us any product for R&D.

Electric pitch

I'd best not discuss what this is for, though they are cool.
They are concepts for a spot we haven't done yet. These are one option, with a big tag behind it that reveals to the beat of the music.

This is another option with a BG reveal and smaller writting.

And this is my tag, it sez Rodrigo Bravo.

Angry Planet

Under the direction of Mike Spicer, we cooked up this charged opening for Angry Planet, a Discovery Channel show about a man who pursues natural disasters.

We treated the frames sicne the origianl footage was standard def and had to be HD.

This was lots of fun, I made several 3d elements and animated writting (my regular handwritting, looks angry enough I guess.). Also the title shot.
